1. Structural Steel Fabrication
Heavy and light steel structures: buildings, bridges, crane girders, towers, platforms, stairs, gratings and handrails. Welded built-up sections and plate girders for industrial plants and infrastructure.
2. Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)
Design, fabrication and erection of pre-engineered steel buildings for warehouses, factories, workshops, logistics centers and cold stores. PEB structures deliver fast construction, low cost per square meter and easy future expansion. SMI supplies PEB buildings across Egypt, Africa and the Middle East. 3. Platework and Component Fabrication
Silos, hoppers, bins, ducts and chutes. Tanks and storage tanks. Pipeline networks from DN 50 (2 inch) to DN 3000 (120 inch), fabricated to DIN and ASTM standards. We also build complete mud systems for drilling rigs.
4. On-Site Assembly and Construction
Erection, fit-up, alignment and installation by SMI crews, so fabrication and site work stay with one accountable partner. See our workshop and machinery and our quality standards.

How much steel can you fabricate?
Up to 10,000 tons per year.
Which steel grades do you work with?
Most of our work is in S275JR and S355JR structural steel to EN 10025-2. Other grades are supplied to the client’s specification.
Are you certified?
Yes, ISO 9001:2015, by Infinity Cert International, certificate EG181223A.
Which codes do you work to?
AISC, AISI, ASTM, AWS, ASME, API, DIN, JIS and BS.
Do you erect on site?
Yes. SMI crews handle delivery, fit-up, alignment and installation, so fabrication and site work stay with one contractor.
Do you work outside Egypt?
Yes. We have delivered to Saudi Arabia, Libya and Sweden.
